Public Notice – Election of Fire Commissioner

Legal Notice:

Annual Election of the Friendship Fire District on December 9th, 2025.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Election of the Friendship Fire District will take place on December 9th, 2025, between the hours of 6 pm to 9 pm at the Friendship Town Meeting Room, for the purpose of electing one fire commissioner for one five (5) year term, commencing on January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31st, 2030. Only the Town of Friendship residents residing in the Friendship Fire District, who are registered to vote with the Allegany County Board of Elections, on or before November 17th, 2025, shall be able to vote.

Candidates for Fire Commissioner shall file a letter, requesting that their name be added to the ballot, specifying the term of office they intend to run for, with the Secretary of the Friendship Fire District at P.O. Box 96, Friendship, New York 14739, no later than

November 19th, 2025, by 5 PM.
