Preliminary Budget Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Friendship, New York, for the year 2026 has been filed in the Supervisor's Office where it is available for any interested person during regular business hours.

FURTHER NOTICE is given that the Town Board will hold a Budget Hearing on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 6:15pm. PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 113 of the Town Law the proposed budgetary salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor 6,022.00 per year

Sup't of Highways 56,821.00 per year

Town Clerk/

Tax collector 21,224.00 per year

Town Justice 15,455.00 per year

Town Board (4) @ 2780.00 11,120.00 per year

Following the Public Budget Hearing the Regular Board Meeting will be held to consider the Adoption of the 2026 Town Budget. The Budget Hearing and Regular meeting will both be held at the Friendship Community Hall(GAR Hall),
