POSTING OF WIRT TOWN ROADS: Under Section 14, Subdivision 20 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, all roads in the Town of Wirt, Allegany County, NY are closed to all vehicles having a maximum gross weight of eight tons or more. Closing takes effect November 1, 2025 until April 1, 2026. Culver Road and Carter Road are seasonal roads with no maintenance from November 1, 2025 until April 1, 2026. In addition, Richburg Hill Road, from seasonal road sign to seasonal road sign, is closed with no maintenance from November 1, 2025 until April 1, 2026.
