Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA)– Vacancy Notice

The Town of Franklinville is seeking interested residents to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA).

The ZBA is the board responsible for hearing and deciding variance requests, interpreting the Town’s Zoning Law, and ensuring fair and consistent application of land use regulations. This position is

appointed by the Town Board.

Position: Zoning Board of Appeals Member

Term Length: 5-year term (to fill current unexpired term ending 12/31/29)

Eligibility: Must be a resident of the Town of

Franklinville

Meeting Schedule: Meets as needed, typically evenings

Training: NYS law recommends 4 hours of annual training

Compensation:

Stipend of $25 per meeting
