NOTICE TO

CONTRACTORS

The City of Olean Department of

Public Works is seeking sealed

proposals for the construction and

replacement of sidewalks, driveways, and curbing at various locations within the City of Olean. Proposals will be received at the Office of the Director of Public Works, Room 206, 101 E. State St., Olean, NY, 14760, until Thursday May 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Information and specifications may be obtained from the City Engineer’s Office, Room 205, 101 E. State St., Olean, NY 14760, telephone (716) 376-5655.

Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed Proposal Form. Each

proposal submitted shall be in a sealed envelope marked on the outside thereof:

PROPOSAL FOR SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBING

An executed Non-Collusive Bidding Certification shall accompany each proposal. Failure to provide this certification will result in not having the bid read. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 45 days after

opening.

The City of Olean reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities, or re-advertise if the best interest of the City of Olean will be served thereby.
