BIDDERS

The Cattaraugus/

Allegany Board of Cooperative Educational Services, (in accordance with Section 103 of the

General Municipal Law) hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, SITE, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, and ELECTRICAL, for the ELLICOTTVILLE CENTER 2026 CAPITAL

IMPROVEMENT PROJECT located in Ellicottville, New York.

Separate sealed bids will be received at the Cattaraugus/Allegany BOCES, 1825 Windfall Road, Olean, NY 14760 until 3:00 P.M. EST, February 25, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened via a Zoom meeting and in person on February 26, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Olean Main Building Conference Room, 1825 Windfall Road, Olean, NY 14760.

A pre-bid conference will be held on February 10, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at

Ellicottville Building A, 5550 NY-242, Ellicottville, NY 14731.

All work shall be done in accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by Young + Wright Architectural, 50 Elk Street Buffalo, NY 14210.

Plans and specifications are available to prime contractors on January 30, 2026, by 4:00 pm by contacting Avalon Document Services at (716) 995-7777 or visiting their online plan room at www.avalon

planroom.com. A deposit of $100.00 per set will be required & shall be made out to Cattaraugus Allegany BOCES. If you should have any questions, please contact Young + Wright Architectural at 716-842-1800.

The deposit will be refunded to all Prime Contractor Bidders returning the drawings and specifications in good, unmarked condition within 30 working days after the bid award. Prime contractors who are non-bidders returning complete sets in good, unmarked condition with the above time limit will be refunded also. No part of the deposit will be refunded for partial and/ or

damaged sets of the drawings and

specifications.

Bid bond payable to the Cattaraugus-

Allegany BOCES shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5

percent of the bid amount.

Bidders will note the required conditions of employment and the minimum New York State Labor Department prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract and registered with the NYS Department of Labor Contractor Registry prior to submitting a bid.

Bids remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept a bid which, in the Board of Education’s judgement, is in the best interest of the school district. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part.
