PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED BUDGET

VILLAGE OF

ALLEGANY

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Village of

Allegany has prepared the annual budget for the upcoming year, June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027. There is a 2.99993 % rate increase in property tax. This rate increase does not go over NYS property tax cap. On Thursday, March 19, 2026 a public hearing will be held at 106 East Main Street, Allegany, NY at 4:00 PM for the purpose of

considering such budget. The itemized budget is on file in the office of the Village Clerk at 106 East Main Street, Allegany, NY where it may be seen by any interested persons

during regular business hours 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Compensation: Mayor $6,500, Deputy Mayor $3700, Trustees $3200
