OF THE CANEADEA FIRE DISTRICT

CANEADEA FIRE DISTRICT

in the Town of Caneadea, County of Allegany

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Town Law, the annual election of the Caneadea Fire District will be held at the firehouse located at ____ New York, ___on the 9th day of December, 2025, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 pm. for the purpose of electing one (1) fire district commissioner to a five year term, commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2030; and for (1) fire district commissioner to a three (3) year term, ending December 31, 2028.

Any person desiring to have their name added to the ballot for this position must submit their name and address in writing to the Secretary of the Fire District no later than November 19, 2025. Candidates must specify the position by term 5 year or 3 year) which is desired. Only one position may be selected and the failure to select either position will result in a denial of the letter.

Those who are qualified to vote at the elections are qualified voters who shall have resided in said Fire District for thirty (30) days next preceding such election. Any person wishing to vote must be registered to vote on or before November 10, 2025
