NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Local Law No. 3-2025, which was filed with the New York State Department of State on November 17, 2025, is published pursuant to

Section 214 (2) of the County Law and Local Law No. 4 of 2002.

This local law authorizes the Board of Legislators of the County of Allegany to adopt a budget for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2026, that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the amount otherwise prescribed in General Municipal Law

Section 3-c, which for 2026 is capped at 2 percent.

A copy of Local Law No. 3-2025 is available for review by the public at the

Office of the Clerk of the Allegany County Board of Legislators, County Office Building, 7 Court Street,

Belmont, New York, 14813.
