Project Description:
The Department has received and reviewed a permit application proposing the installation of rock riprap and vegetative plantings to stabilize
approximately 1,050 linear feet of eroded streambank along the Genesee River. Grade control structures will also be
installed as part of this project to further reduce the
potential for further erosion of the streambank. The Department is seeking comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.

Determination
Cultural resource lists and maps have been checked. The proposed activity is not in an area of identified archaeological sensitivity and no known registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified or documented for the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
