PRELIMINARY

BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Scio, New

York, for the year 2026has been filed in the Town Clerk's Office where it is available for any

interested person during regular business hours.

FURTHER NOTICE is given that the Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on November 6, 2025, at7:00 PM at 4355 County Road 10, Scio, NY.

At such time all

persons interested in the subject matter will be heard.

PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 113 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:

1. Supervisor $9,000 per year

2. Sup't of Highways $60,000 per year

3. Town Clerk $8,565 per year

4. Tax Collector $2,700 per year

5. Town Justice $24,000 per year

6. Town Board(4)@ $1,350 each $5,400 per year

FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN following the Public Hearing a Special Board Meeting

will be held to consider the adoption of the 2026Budget.
