Be advised that any object placed

within the Town of Salamanca right of way that was not placed there by the Town of Salamanca Highway Department is against the law and is not the responsibility of the township. Any and all personal injuries and property damages caused by an object placed

illegally will be the

property owner’s responsibility. Be advised that it is illegal to push any types of materials or snow across a town highway. Any and all personal injuries and property damages will be the responsibility of the land owner. In the event the Town Highway Dept.

has to remove material(s) or snow from the highway or right of way, the land owner will be responsible for the cost which will include wages, benefits and equipment hourly rate.
