NOTICE TO

BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Olean Town Council invites sealed bids for Town of Olean Kennel Building Project consisting of a 1,600 square foot, single-story dog shelter building with 10 individual kennels and office/exam, storage and mechanical room areas. The work will include the complete

construction of the building structure and associated site work. The successful bidder shall furnish and install all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems within the building to include all associated labor and materials for the work located at 2634 NYS Rte. 16 North in the Town of Olean, NY. Bids will be opened in the office of the Olean Town Clerk on July 29, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time. The bids shall be in accordance with Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, and any other

Specifications, and Plans may be examined and obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office, 2634 NYS Rte. 16, Olean, New York, 14760.

Each bid must be accompanied by the following:

-Non-Collusive Bidding Certification

-Vendor Assurance of No Conflict of Interest or Detrimental Effect

-Bid Bond payable to the Town of Olean for 5% of the amount of the Bid.

This contract will be funded wholly or partially with New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets (NYSDAM) and as such, is subject to all state rules and regulations pertinent thereto, including, but not limited to, NYS policy of encouraging the participation of minority and women business enterprises (MWBE) as sources of supplies, equipment, construction and services. The Town of Olean encourages state certified MWBE firms to

participate.

Bidders are instructed to quote using the bid form provided and

submit in a sealed opaque envelope marked “Bid for: Kennel Building Project”.
