NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW #1

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held

before the Town Board of the Town of Hume at the Town of Hume Museum/Courthouse, 10842 Claybed Rd., Fillmore, NY 14735, at 7:15 pm on October 8, 2025, concerning Introductory Local Law number 1 (one) of 2025 entitled “ A Local Law to Override the Real Property Tax Cap Levy Established by General Municipal Law Section 3-c.” The purpose of the proposed local law is to authorize the Town Board to adopt a budget for 2026 that provides for an increase in the real property tax levy for 2026. A copy of the proposed local law is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk and on the Town of Hume website,

townofhumeny.gov.

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.
