Public Hearing on Town of Caneadea 2026 Preliminary Budget to be

followed by

Regular Town Board Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Caneadea, New York, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026, has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk at 8911 State Route 19, Caneadea, New York, where it is available for inspection by any

interested parties during regular

office hours.

FURTHER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Caneadea will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing thereon. The hearing will be held in the Conference Room at the Town Hall of Caneadea, 8911 State Route 19, Caneadea, New York, at 7:00 p.m. on November 13, 2025. At that time, any person may provide written or oral comments in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled, or for or against any items therein contained.

FURTHER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Real Property Tax Law Section 495, the Exemption report that shows total assessed value on the final assessment roll that was used in the budgetary process that is exempt from taxation is on file with the 2026 Preliminary Budget.

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following elected Town officials are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor: $5,100

Council members (4): $ 1500 each

FURTHER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that following the closing of the Preliminary Budget Hearing, the Town Board of the Town of Caneadea will convene a regular meeting for the purpose of conducting Town business on any scheduled

topic or matter that may arise.
