Legal Notice of Public Hearing

The Common Council of the City of Olean, New York has scheduled a Public Hearing for Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Olean Municipal Building. The purpose of this hearing is to

receive public input on proposed Local Law #02-2026, to establish a permitting process to

ensure Brownfield

Opportunity Area (BOA) remediation is conducted safely and that the

developer – not taxpayers – bears the cost of municipal oversight and road maintenance.
