NOTICE OF BUDGET

HEARING

VILLAGE OF

BELMONT

Pursuant to Section 5-508 of the Village Law, the tentative budget of the Village of Belmont for the fiscal year 2026-2027 has been prepared and filed with the Village Clerk at the Village Office, Town and Village Hall, 1 Schuyler Street, Belmont, New York, where it may be inspected by contacting the Village Clerk’s office at 585-268-5522 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 12 Noon and 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8:00 AM to Noon on Wednesday. Said tentative budget includes compensation for the Mayor of $4200.00 per annum and for (4) Trustees $8800.00 per annum, And a proposed 10% tax rate increase. A Public Hearing will be held at the Town and Village Hall on April 20, 2026 at 7:15 PM to consider same before adoption. BY
