LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned Collector of Taxes for the Town of Belfast has received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of County and Town taxes for 2026. These are payable through January without penalty. Tax payments can be made by mail to PO Box 472 Belfast NY 14711. Tax payments may be made in person at 13 Merton Ave, Belfast Town Hall on Monday or Tuesday from 10 am to 4 pm and on Saturday from 10am until noon. A check (no cash please) along with the tax bill can also be deposited in the water bill collection box in the vestibule of the Town Hall at your convenience, a receipt will be mailed to you.

The tax roll will be returned to the County Treasurer’s office after April 3th, 2026. Thereafter, all taxes and penalties will be payable at the County Treasurer’s office located at the Courthouse in Belmont NY.
