A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF THE

FRIENDSHIP FIRE DISTRICT, TOWN OF FRIENDSHIP, ALLEGANY COUNTY, NEW YORK

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Friendship Fire District in the Town of Friendship, Allegany County, New York will hold a public vote on December 15th for the following

Resolution, which is

subject to a

Permissive

Referendum.

Shall the Friendship Fire District be authorized to purchase property from the Friendship Fire Department, Inc., for use in fire service operations at a cost not to exceed $65,000 from the Friendship Fire District Building Funds

Account ?"

Any such resolution of the board of fire commissioners shall not take effect until thirty days after its adoption; nor until approved by the affirmative vote of a majority of the electors of such fire district affected, until approved by an affirmative vote of the majority of the duly qualified voting electors of this Fire District if a petition, as prescribed by Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law, is duly filed with the Secretary of this District protesting against such Resolution and requesting a referendum as is prescribed in said section of said law.

Voting Location: Friendship Fire Hall Meeting Room, Depot Street, Friendship, New York

Hours: 6 – 9 PM.

Who Can Vote: Only registered voters residing within the Friendship Fire District
