Due to the federal holiday on Monday, February 16th, the Town of Belfast monthly board meeting and Public Hearings will be held on Monday, February 23rd, 2026.

The Town of Belfast will hold a Public Hearing at 6pm, Monday, February 23rd, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Municipal Building, 13 Merton Avenue, 13 Merton Avenue, Belfast NY. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss an extension on the moratorium for the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for an additional 6 months. A second public hearing will be held on February 23rd, 2026 at 6:30 pm to discuss adopting a moratorium for "Wastewater Storage Facilities" within the Town of Belfast.
