HELP WANTED

The Town of Allegany Highway Department is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time mechanics position. Candidates must have a good driving record and possess a Class B CDL as well as a degree in heavy equipment/diesel truck repair, or minimum 5 yrs experience in the field. Must have own tools and be in sufficient physical condition to perform essential duties of the position. Candidates must be available for call ins. Candidates will be required to participate in random drug and alcohol screening program. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance, repair and diagnostic of trucks and large and small equipment, in the shop and in the field in all weather conditions. Additional duties may be assigned by a Supervisor. Resumes with 3 references must be submitted to Town of Allegany Highway Superintendent at 3790 Birch Run Road no later than February 27, 2026.
