LEGAL NOTICE of Annual Election of Portville Fire

District #1

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Election of Portville Fire District #1 will take place on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm at the Portville Fire Hall, 15 South Main Street, Portville, N.Y. for the purpose of electing (1) Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2030 AND (1) Fire Commissioner for a two (2) year term commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2027. All voters registered with the Cattaraugus County Board of Elections before November 17th, 2025 shall be eligible to vote. Voters must reside within the Portville Fire District for a minimum of 30 days prior to the election. Candidates that would like to run for District Office should have their names filed with the District Secretary via a letter of intent mailed to P.O. Box 740, Portville, New York 14770, no later than November 19th, 2025.
