BID NOTICE

The Village of Little Valley Municipal Electric Department, Little Valley, NY hereby invites submission of sealed bids on 10 – Class IV 30’ pine poles, 10 – Class IV 40’ pine poles, and 25 – Class IV 45’ pine poles. The poles shall be fully treated with CCA-ET, drilled to REA specifications, and be independently inspected. Bid price is to include delivery and unloading via boom truck at the purchaser’s delivery point.

Bids will be received at the office of the Village Clerk before and up to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. They will be publicly opened at 7:00 PM on that evening at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Village Board of Trustees, held at the

Municipal Building.

All bidders are required to submit a Non-Collusive Certificate with their bids, pursuant to Section 103(d) of the General

Municipal Law.

All bids are to be addressed to L. Imhoff, Sr. Line Worker, Municipal Building, 103 Rock City St., Little Valley, NY 14755. All bids must be sealed and plainly marked “POLE BID.”

All bids are to be submitted in accordance with Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, which provides that any bid subjecting contract prices to increase to reflect changes in marketing conditions cannot legally be

accepted.

Any aspect of the Bidder’s product that does not conform exactly to the specifications must be pointed out in the bid under the special heading “EXCEPTIONS,” the degree of deviation from the specifications for each exception must also be spelled out.

The Village Board reserves the right to reject or accept all bids, and to waive any formalities that are in the best interest of the Village.
