ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: The Town of Wirt Board is hereby
accepting bids to mow and trim the following cemeteries, Oil Well Landmark and Town Hall Yard in Richburg, New York. All contractors must be insured and must supply their own equipment. The Town Board
reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Please send sealed bids to Larry Bedow, Supervisor. PO Box 243, Richburg, NY 14774. Please write on
envelope “Sealed Bid.” All bids must be received by April 13, 2026, and will be opened and read at a Meeting of the Board at the Wirt Town Hall at 6:30 pm on April 13, 2026. Call Larry Bedow (585)

Part 1
Burdick Cemetery, located on Burdick Rd., appx. 3/8 mile from Pine Grove, Monahan, Harlan Ames and Burdick Rd. intersection.
Cochran Cemetery, located on St. Rt. 275, across from the Weimer Residence up in the pines on the Faulkner
property.
Wheeler Cemetery, located on Andrew Rd., approximately 1 mile from County Rd. #34 and Andrews Rd. intersection.
All cemeteries are to be mowed the week before Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.
Part 2
Mowing & Trimming of Oil Well Landmark. Contractor will mow and trim the site of the first oil well drilled in Richburg, located on Richburg Hill Rd., east of the Town Hall on Main St. in Richburg. Mowing will begin as soon as grass growth dictates, but no later than May 10, 2026. Mowing should be consistent enough (appx. 3 times a month) so that the area looks neat and orderly.
Part 3
Mowing & Trimming of front & back lawn, Town Hall Yard, 210 Main St., Richburg. Mowing will begin as soon as grass growth dictates, but no later than May 10, 2026. Mowing should be consistent enough (appx. 3 times a month) so that the area looks neat and orderly.
