ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
THE ALLEGANY-LIMESTONE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT invites bids for, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION for the 2025-2026 CAPITAL OUTLAY PROJECT located at Allegany-Limestone
Elementary School in Allegany, New York.
Separate sealed bids will be received by Allegany-Limestone CSD at the District Office at Allegany-Limestone Middle High School, until 2:00pm local time on February 17th, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received at the designated location prior to the designated time for opening bids.

E. Project Description: Project consists of the following renovations to the Elementary School.
1. Full replacement of the walk-in
cooler and freezer in the Elementary kitchen.
F. Project construction budget is anticipated to be under $90,000
G. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for a single prime general contractor.
1.02 BID
SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

2. Bid Time: 2:00pm local time.

1.03 BID
SECURITY
A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5%] five percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [45] forty-five days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
1.04 PREBID MEETING
A. Prebid Meeting: A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at the Elementary School, 120 Maple Ave., Allegany, New York 14760 on February 3rd, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend. It is recommended that bidders be familiar
with the contract documents prior to attending the scheduled pre-bid meeting.

1.06 TIME OF COMPLETION
A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.

NOTIFICATION
A. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the following:
1. Owner's sales tax exemption
2. The minimum wage rates to be paid under the
contract.
3. Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements which must be complied with on the Project.
4. The requirements pertaining to certification of non-collusion in preparation of bids submitted for this Project
5. New York State Contractor Registry – In compliance with New York State Department of Labor requirements, a copy of the Contractor
Registration Form shall be submitted with the bid.
1.08 AWARD OF BIDS
A. The Allegany-Limestone CSD hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any, or all, Bids or to accept the one that, in its judgement, will be in the best interest of Allegany-Limestone CSD.
