The St. Bonaventure women’s basketball team handed Duquesne its first home loss of the season, edging the Dukes, 58-53, to remain undefeated on the road and in the Atlantic 10 Wednesday night at the A.J. Palumbo Center Arena in Pittsburgh.
The win brings the Bonnies to 21-2 and 8-0 in the A 10. The Bonnies’ only losses came at home against Delaware (now ranked No. 12 in the AP Top 25) and at a neutral Monmouth court against Villanova without second leading scorer Megan Van Tatenhove.
The Bonnies’ 10-game winning streak brings them one behind the program record, set during the 2009-10 season.
