Beardsley named Allegany County Coach of the Year
Fillmore girls soccer coach Jon Beardsley has been named the Paul H. Vienna Award winner as the Allegany County Coach of the Year for 2019-20. Beardsley led the Eagles to an 18-1-1 record (15-0-1 regular season) and the third Section 5 Class D1 championship under his watch last fall. In lieu of the canceled June banquet sponsored by the Allegany County Athletic Association due to the COVID-19 pandemic, award winners and nominees were recently able to gather for photos.
