- OLEAN — Charles J. Stead II, 39, of 1627 Walnut St., Olean, was charged at 8:49 p.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, and inadequate brakes, an infraction. The charges stem from a traffic stop. Stead was released with an appearance ticket.
- LITTLE VALLEY — Curtis D. Short, 34, and Donna M. Beaudry, 39, both of Machias, were each charged at 10 a.m. Wednesday with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, a class A misdemeanor. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau. Short and Beaudry were processed and released with appearance tickets.
