Olean Police

  • Wednesday, 11:08 a.m., Lawrence Daniel Cook, 42, of 118 E. Greene St., was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. He is due back in court at a later date.
  • Wednesday, 6:50 p.m., Larry Jones Jr., 21, of 219 N. Sixth St., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Olean City Court relating to previous charges of third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony; third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, class E felonies; criminal obstruction of breathing and fourth-degree criminal mischief, class A misdemeanors; and second-degree harassment, a violation. Jones was held pending arraignment.
  • Wednesday, 7:04 p.m., Tashanti R. Phillips, 19, of 623 Seneca Ave., was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Olean City Court relating to previous charges of making a terroristic threat, a class D felony; resisting arrest, acting in a manner injurious to a child and fourth-degree criminal mischief, class A misdemeanors; second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct, violations. Phillips’ status was not reported.

Wellsville Police

  • Tuesday, no time provided, Bryan C. Evans, 24, of Welsville, was charged with making a punishable false written statement, a class A misdemeanor. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
  • Tuesday, no time provided, Nikki D. Hunt, 35, of Whitesville, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported Dec. 29 at the 7-Eleven on South Main Street. Hunt was processed and released with an appearance ticket.

Allegany County Sheriff’s Office

  • WELLSVILLE — Spencer S. Carl, 21, of Wellsville, was arrested Monday on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Allegany County Court. Carl was transported to Allegany County Jail, where he was held pending further court action.
  • BOLIVAR — Michael S. McDonald, 39, of Bolivar, was arrested Monday on a bench warrant issued out of Bolivar Village Court. McDonald was processed and remanded to Allegany County Jail, where he was held on $10,000 bail or $40,000 bond. He is due back in court at a later date.
  • WELLSVILLE — Jessie W. Proctor, 39, of Bolivar, was arrested Monday on a bench warrant issued out of Wellsville Town Court. Proctor was turned over to the New York State Police for further court action.

New York State Police

  • FREEDOM — Jerald L. Kibler, 56, of Arcade, was charged at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday with second-degree aggravated harassment, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported Dec. 15. Kibler was processed and released on his own recognizance.
