Christie “McGinty” Brook connected with merchants on the first two blocks of North Union Street and invited them to a toast at noon on St. Patrick’s Day. Brook, owner of Christie’s Boutique, wanted to spread some Irish cheer and a good luck to the coming year among her fellow merchants. Colleen and Dylan with Beat City Music were on hand to supply some music for an Irish Jig. Additional St. Patrick’s Day area coverage can be found on page A-2.
