PORTVILLE — Henry J. Kayes passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Hart Comfort House, in Wellsville, on Thursday (Oct. 8, 2026).

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 15, 2026) at the Guenther Funeral Home, Olean, with a graveside service with full military honors to be held Friday (Oct. 16, 2026) at Black Creek Cemetery, Black Creek.
