Her parents were Leo and Gladys Belleisle and she was the youngest of seven children: Bill, Leo Jr. “Jack,” Marie, Lowell, Doug and Jeanne. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert M. “Bob” Jordan, on June 10, 1954, while he was stationed at Fort Monmouth, N.J. during the Korean Conflict.

She had three children. Linda L. Jacobin (married to Joe), Victoria ” Vicki” O. Jordan, and Randall M. “Marc” Jordan.

Bob was hired by Boeing right out of the army and moved with his family to Seattle for a year, then moved to Santa Maria, Calif., where he was put in charge of the Minuteman Missile program at Vandenburg.

Emily went to community college and earned an assistant nursing certification. Ten years later they again moved back to Seattle when Bob was put in charge of Boeing’s 757 sales and maintenance program. Emily used her certification to work at many of the medical facilities in the area.

When they retired, they both volunteered at Valley General Hospital for many years.

She loved traveling the world with Bob and they went to Mexico for vacations and Hawaii. Her favorite trip was delivering a plane to Nepal. She and Bob were married for 65 years when he died.

She loved her grandchildren, Tanya O. (Adam) O’Bannon and Brian M. (Leslie) Carey; and her great-grandson, Brady O’Bannon. She has many nieces, nephews and cousins still in the upstate New York area.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Randall and Dora Jordan; her siblings; her son; her husband; and her grandson, James M. Jacobin.
