Kenneth ‘Bones’ Pangburn Jr.

RICHGURG — Kenneth “Bones” Pangburn Jr., 59, of Richburg, passed away suddenly at home Wednesday (Sept. 2, 2026).

Born Nov. 27, 1966, in Cuba, he was the son of Kenneth and the late Pamela Clayson Pangburn.

He was a graduate of Richburg Central School and spent the last 25 years working at Casella’s in Olean.

Ken enjoyed snowmobiling, fabrication and spending time with family and friends. Kenny was a great friend who would drop everything to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth of Richburg; daughters, Shayla Burdick of Bolivar and Kyla Burdick of Virginia; brothers, Paul (Krista) Pangburn of Scio and Mark (Brenda) Pangburn of Richburg; a new grandson, Hudsyn, of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Ken was predeceased by his mother on April 10, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 554 S. Main St., Bolivar.
