KILL BUCK — Our dear wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Gail M. Kenneson, 36, of Kill Buck, passed away suddenly Sunday evening (Aug. 16, 2026).
Born June 12, 1990, in Olean, she was the daughter of Dale Phillips of Cheektowaga and the late Lisa Smith Phillips. She was married June 17, 2017, in Limestone, to Kris Kenneson, who survives.
She was a graduate of JFK Senior High School, Class of 2008, and had attended Salamanca High School. She then attended Jamestown Community College and Erie County Community College.
Gail had been employed as a pharmacy technician with Walmart in Olean and had previously been employed at the former Rite Aid in Salamanca.
Her radiant spirit is carried on by her two beloved children, Jacob and Anna, who were her entire world. She loved to spend her time cooking, gardening, kayaking, being outdoors, and doing artwork.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father are two children, Jacob Kenneson and Anna Kenneson; her “bonus mom,” Michele Phillips; four sisters, Danielle (Brad) Skiba, Erin Kraus, Brianna Kraus and Lindsay Phillips; her in-laws, Paula and Greg Kenneson; sister-in-law, Kelly Cale; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to EARS, P.O. Box 445, Salamanca, NY 14779.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
