PENFIELD — Randy J. Yehl, 61, of Penfield, died Friday (Aug. 7, 2026) following a long illness.
Born April 30, 1965, Randy was the son of Patti Young Yehl and the late Ronald Yehl.
He graduated from Salamanca Central High School, Class of 1983, and received his associate’s degree from Alfred State College, Class of 1985.
He was the owner of Infinite Evolution Consulting (IEC) in Rochester, and had previously worked for Xerox Corp in Rochester as a consultant for almost 15 years.
He attended St. John of Rochester R.C. Church, Fairport, and was a member of the Holy Cross Athletic Club in Salamanca.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, and will be remembered for his joy of socializing, his charismatic personality, as well as his leadership skills. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and he enjoyed playing golf, as well as playing baseball in his youth. He was a Cleveland Guardian baseball fan.
Surviving are two sons, Mitchell Yehl of Golden Valley, Minn. and Matthew (Courtney Burns) Yehl of Orchard Park; two sisters, Penny (Steve) Beattie of Great Valley and Pam Yehl of Rochester; four brothers, Robert (Debbie) Yehl of Salamanca, Rick (Sarah) Yehl of Bath, Ryan Yehl of San Diego, Calif. and Roger (Mary Ann) Yehl of Interlaken, N.J.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
