Susan Marie ‘Susie’ Johnson

EVERGREEN, Colo. — Susan Marie “Susie” Johnson, 77, of Evergreen, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Susie was born April 6, 1949, in Olean, N.Y., to Lawrence Johnson and Alene Shaffer Johnson.

She graduated from Portville (N.Y.) Central School in 1967 and earned her business degree from Bryant & Stratton Business School in 1969.

After working for Dexter-Hysol in Olean, Susie began her career as a flight attendant for United Airlines in 1970, initially based in New York City, then Colorado where she met her future husband, Ray Sirianni.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Ray Sirianni; son, Mark (Ondrea) Sirianni; cherished grandchildren, Miakoda and Shayfer Sirianni; sister, Cynthia Johnson Osika; brother, David (April) Johnson; sister-in-law, Sari Church Johnson; brother-in-law, James Thigpen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Alene Shaffer Johnson; stepfather, Leo Church; siblings, Larry Johnson and Diane Bettencourt; and brother-in-law, David Osika.

Susie’s passing leaves a void in our family that can never be filled. She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother whose love, encouragement and generous spirit never wavered. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral or memorial gathering is planned.
