Robert A. Roulo, father, grandfather, great-grandfather

BOLIVAR — Robert A. Roulo, 87, of 1025 Coyle Road, Bolivar, passed away Saturday (July 11, 2026) at Jones Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.

Born June 13, 1939, in Olean, he was a son of Roger and Hazel Grimes Roulo. In 1958, in Richburg, he married the former Joyce Kuhn, who predeceased on December 24, 2015.

He worked in the oil fields for Francis Root and later was a logger. He retired from Portville Forest Products.

He enjoyed fishing, maintaining his lawn and spending time with his family. He loved animals, particularly his dogs Buddy and Lady.

Robert is survived by a son, David A. Roulo of Bolivar; a daughter-in-law, Jill J Roulo of Bolivar; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Elwyn (Jan) Roulo of Portville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two sons, Robert A. Roulo and Michael A. Roulo; a grandson, Justin Roulo; a brother, Ronald R. Roulo; and his stepmother, Doris Roulo.

At his request a Celebration of Life and burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
