MACHIAS — The Cattaraugus County Museum will not be opened for its scheduled hours for this Saturday, July 18, as staff attend the premiere of the museum’s new educational film, “The 154th New York: The East,” at 4 p.m. at the Quick Center at St. Bonaventure University.

Museum staff apologize for any inconvenience.

The film premiere is free and open to the public for anyone who wishes to attend. The film, fourth in a series of educational films produced by the museum with the goal of being available to local teachers, serves as an introduction to the regiment’s first year of service, covering its organization and the Chancellorsville and Gettysburg campaigns.
