ALLEGANY — Nadine M. Rhinehart, 81, of Allegany, died Tuesday morning (July 7, 2026) at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Olean, following a long illness.
Born April 8, 1945, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Lennis and Helen Matusckiewicz Yaw. She was married Oct. 17, 1987, in Portville, to Norman Rhinehart, who survives.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1963.
Nadine had been employed in the assembly department with Cooper Industries, Olean, for over 25 years and had previously been employed with the New York Telephone Company in Olean.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting, donating hundreds of these items anonymously to various organizations throughout the years. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Brenda and Pamela; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Bell; sister, Sandra Watt; and brothers, Richard and Wayne Yaw.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
