Michael W. Goodhand

FRANKLINVILLE — Michael W. Goodhand, of Lyndon Road, passed away Saturday (June 20, 2026).

Mike was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Olean, and was the son of Walter S. and Joyce C. Weaver Goodhand. On Dec. 31, 1976, in Franklinville, he married Barbara Kowal, who survives.

Mike served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1976, when he was honorably discharged.

He was a member of the I.O.O.B., a Mopar enthusiast, and an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. Mike enjoyed watching drag racing at Lancaster Speedway and tinkering in the garage. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and going to his grandkids sporting events.

Beside his loving wife, Barbara, Mike is survived by his two daughters, Kelly (Scott) Breton and Joy (Mark) Aultman; grandchildren, Madison Rodgers, Makayla, Carlie and Liam Aultman; three siblings, Paul (Ann) Goodhand, Linda Heaslip and Danny (Kim) Goodhand; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was predeceased by his parents; and a son, Derek.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
