Daniel M. Hoffman

SALAMANCA — Daniel M. Hoffman, 54, died suddenly Thursday (June 18, 2026) at home, following a long illness.

Born Jan. 12, 1972, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Verna L. Stafford Hoffman.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and of the Bear Clan.

He was a graduate of Firelands High School, Amherst, Ohio, Class of 1990.

Dan was employed with the Clinton Restaurant as a bar back,

He enjoyed gaming with his friends and golfing. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

Surviving are his longtime companion, Shane Kelley of Salamanca; a sister, Sarah (Blaine) Tallchief of Salamanca; a brother, Andrew Hoffman of Salamanca; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

As per Daniel’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial was in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Jimersontown.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St. Salamanca.
