ALLEGNY — Sr. Carlina Tronconi, OSF, died Monday (June 8, 2026) at St. Elizabeth Motherhouse, Allegany.

Born Carlina Catherine Tronconi, on Nov. 11, 1926, in Verona, Italy, she was the daughter of Silvano and Josephine Giuseppina Ragano.

Sr. Carlina is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany. She lived the Franciscan Mission, Vision and Charism for over 77 years.

A Wake Service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday (June 11, 2026) in the Chapel of St. Elizabeth Motherhouse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday (June 12, 2026) in the Chapel of St Elizabeth Motherhouse. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
