Sharon Lee Warner

FARMERSVILLE STATION — On Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the age of 85, Sharon Lee Kushman Warner passed peacefully onto the Lord.

Born March 16, 1941, in Buffalo, to John and Lora Kushman, she was the youngest of four children.

She graduated from Riverside High School, where she formed a long-life friendship with Pauline Gawal.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was married to her beloved husband Nelson for 50 years. They raised three children and many animals in Farmersville Sation.

She was a dedicated member of the Farmersville Center Community Church, also attending the Farmersville Babtist Church, volunteering and participating in numerous dinners and functions at the churches.

Sharon was cherished member of the “Cozy Quilters,” who lovingly created and donated quilts for cancer patients. Sharon lived her faith by helping and respecting others.

Sharon was employed by Cuba Rushford School working as a teachers aid at the Rushford campus, where she retired in 2004.

Sharon was an avid sportswoman, enjoying hunting, snowmobiling, boating, swimming, camping, traveling and working in her gardens daily.

Sharon is survived by her devoted children, Ronald (Lori) Warner of Dansville, Debra (Farrell) Preston of Chattanooga, Tenn., and (Vicki) Warner of Farmersville Station; her dearest grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew (Alicia), Elizabeth (Russel), Nicholas, Kristy (Levi) and Shelby (Matt); great-grandchildren, Keaton, Wyatt, Chase, Tyler, Charlotte, Cade, Nevaeh and Casen; as well as family and friends who actively stayed present in her life.

She appreciated the love, support, phone calls and visits. Sharon enjoyed the bonds in her community of friends she made during regular luncheons with her long-time lady friends, worshipping at church, quilting parties and volunteering at fund raisers.

Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Nelson; her son, Rick; her mother; father; and brothers, James, Robert, and Donald Hodge; as well as her dear sister-in-law, Neva Boysha; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon’s loved ones will gather to celebrate her life and legacy at a later date and time. The family will hold a private interment at the Siloam Cemetery, Freedom.

Sharon supported a variety of charities that were close to her heart. So in lieu of flowers the family requests that you donate to a charity that is close and meaningful to your heart.
