BELMONT — Mary Ann Spence, of Belmont, loving child of God, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, went to be with Our Loving Lord and Savior on Monday (May 4, 2026) at Olean General Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born March 23, 1943, she was a daughter of Hubert and Annabelle Ecker Snyder. On Dec. 5, 1994, in Willing, she married Fay O. Spence, who predeceased her.

Her employment included cleaning houses, a cleaner for Rushford Beach and retiring as a home health care provider.

She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, puzzles and spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by three sons, Bryan (Loralei) Dewe, Dixon of California, Leon (Felcia) Dewe of Freedom and Timothy Bialy of Rushford; two daughters, Marlena (Marcy) Bialy of Alfred and Glenda (Doug) Young of Oramel; 12 grandchildren, Josh, Sean, Steve, Courtney, Coldin, Kylie, Kaydrin, Avery, Noah, Gracelyn, Lorielle and Gavin; seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Lucas, Zoey, Kayleigh, Brooklyn, Brennan, Scarlette and one great-grandbaby on the way; five Sisters, Millie Johnson of Coldwater, Miss., Alice Bunk of Cuba, Linda Haagen of Virginia Beach, Va., Kathy (Chuck) Babbitt of Caneadea and Rose Snyder of Glendora, Calif.; two brothers, Tom Snyder of Glendora, Calif. and Richard Snyder of Caneadea; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Fay Spence of Wellsville; two brothers, Lloyd Snyder and Ed Snyder; and one sister, Penelope (Penny) Frederick. She was also predeceased by brothers- and sisters-in-law, Rose, Don, Bill, Dawn, Richard, Donna and Joe; and one grandson, Levi at birth.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba.
