Angela R. Laurich,  loving mother, daughter, sister, friend

OLEAN — Angela R. Laurich, 40, Olean, passed away unexpectedly Monday (April 27, 2026) at home.

Born Sept. 17, 1985, in Rantoul, Ill., she was a daughter of Richard Laurich and Karen Cline.

Angela was a 2004 graduate of Portville Central School. She had worked as a home health aide for Intandem.

Known for her selfless nature, she took pride in ensuring no one spent the holidays alone, famously hosting dinners for friends and neighbors. She was a dedicated member of the Southern Tier Environments for Living Community, where she found great joy and friendship through their many activities.

She is survived by her mother, Karen (Jeff) Cole Sargent of Portville; her father, Richard (Eva) Laurich of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Jade and Isabel Laurich of Portville; four brothers, Richard Laurich of Belleville, Ill., Jonathan Laurich of Ackworth, Ga., Jame Laurich of Idaho and Anthony Francia of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Ed (Lorraine) Laurich of Cheektowaga; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Roderick and Georgianna Cline.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull St., Cuba, with a reception to follow at 1 p.m. t the Palmer Opera House, Main Street, Cuba.
