Jonathan Edgar Michael Colon

ALLEGANY — Jonathan Edgar Michael Colon, of Allegany, passed away Friday (April 24, 2026) after a long illness.

Born Feb. 2, 1985, in Buffalo, he was the son of Edgardo M. Colon and Karen L. Kardes.

Jonathan loved being with his family and friends and was known as a smart, charismatic and funny guy. He loved learning about computers and had studied cyber security post-high school.

Among the several jobs he held, he liked working for Apple Computers the best.

As a loving son, brother and uncle, his memory will be treasured forever by his family, and he will be forever missed by his mother, Karen of Allegany; as well as his sister, Tiffany A. Colon; his brother, Benjamin J. Pavone; and his niece, Veda L. Fillgrove.

Private burial services will be held at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
