Douglas E. Austin

PORTVILLE — Douglas E. Austin, of Brooklyn Street, formerly of Shinglehouse, Pa., passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at his home.

Douglas was born Nov. 24, 1964, in Olean, and was the son of Lloyd E. and Phyllis R. Brabham Austin.

Douglas was a 1983 graduate of Oswayo Valley High School. He worked for a number of places including Fibercell for about the past 20 years.

Douglas is survived by his mother, Phyllis Austin; two brothers, Timothy L. Austin and Brian L. Austin, all of Shinglehouse; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Douglas was predeceased by his father, Lloyd Austin; and two sisters, Kim L. Stickel and Tracey L. Latten.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
