Aiden Allen Bryce Szata

OTTO — Aiden Allen Bryce Szata, 19, of Otto, passed away Wednesday (April 15, 2026) at his home.

He was born June 4, 2006, in Buffalo, son of Jay and Audrey Gunsolus Szata of Otto.

Aiden was a 2025 graduate of Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School and the carpentry and construction trades program at BOCES. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved baseball and bowling.

Besides his loving parents, he is survived by two brothers, Donald “DJ” Szata and Dylan Szata both of Otto; his maternal grandfather; Norman (Patricia) Gunsolus of Cattaraugus; paternal grandmother, Cindy Szata of Little Valley; aunts, Trina (Adam Skeels) Szata of New Albion, Carolyn Gunsolus of Jamestown and Jennifer (Frank) D’Ambrosio of Rochester; uncles, Casie Gunsolus of Clymer and Brian Litz of Maine; and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Yvonne Stanton; his paternal grandfather, John Szata; and special aunt, Rainey Fox.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday (April 24, 2026) at the Roberts Memorial Church in Cattaraugus. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday (April 25, 2026) from Roberts Memorial Church in Cattaraugus.
