Linda S McDonald

VENICE, Fla. — Linda S McDonald passed Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the age of 83, having been born on Jan. 4, 1943, in Olean, N.Y.

A resident of Venice, she married Thomas G McDonald III on Nov. 28, 1963.

She worked at the family restaurant, the Chit Chat, in Olean. She also worked at Olean General Hospital in the dietary department.

She was a member of the Venice Moose 1308 Chapter 758 and No-vel American Legion Auxiliary.

She enjoyed her grand-doggies, dancing, darts, and her crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Jim) Salhoff; brother, John (Gloria) Artlip; and her grand doggies.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Tamara McDonald; sister, Jacqueline Gerber; and her parents, Jack and June Artlip.

There will be graveside services at a later date at St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
