OLEAN — Arwilda J. Williams, of 3187 Cranberry Rd., passed away Friday (March 20, 2026) at her home, surrounded in love by her four children and families.

Born October 14, 1937 in Cuba, she was the daughter of Grawson and Marion Searle Kellogg.  On October 22, 1955 at the home of her parents in Lyndon Center, she married Earl J. Williams who predeceased her April 8, 2016.

Arwilda attended school in Franklinville.  She enjoyed raising her children and she also worked as a cook for the Allegany-Limestone Central School.  After retirement, she cleaned the Allegany American Legion.

She loved baking, embroidery, and going to craft shows.

She leaves behind four children, Debra (Charles) Yehl of Allegany, Katharine (Jay) Eckel of Alfred Station, LeRoy (Sue) Williams of Bolivar, and Audrey Williams of Allegany; six grandchildren, Andrew Yehl, Growson (Kelly) Edwards, Michael (Libby) Isaac, Kaitlin (Dylan) Isaac, Jennifer (Evan) Isaac, and LeRoy Williams, Jr.; two great granddaughters, Hannah Edwards and Emma Edwards; one brother, Milliard Kellogg, special friends, Ed and Patty Giardini, and Tom and Wendy Rasey, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Virginia Clayson, and two brothers, James Kellogg, Sr., and Warren “Sam” Kellogg.

Friends will be received on Saturday (March 28, 2026) from noon to 4 p.m. at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean.  Services will begin at 4 p.m. in the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Gerald Piper.  Burial will be in Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany at a later date.
